How it works technically: We detect the visitor’s region using their browser timezone. If they are in a strict-consent region (EU/UK/Brazil), we show a cookie consent banner and wait for explicit acceptance before loading the Affonso pixel. For all other regions, we auto-grant consent and load the Affonso pixel instantly on page load — your affiliate click is tracked with zero friction.
What this means for you as an affiliate: If your audience is mostly in the US, Canada, or Asia, virtually 100% of clicks are tracked immediately. For European visitors, the click is only tracked if they accept the cookie banner — this is a legal requirement (GDPR), not a technical limitation, and applies equally to all affiliate programs operating in Europe.

- If the user subscribes within 30 days, the sale is attributed to you

Are add-on purchases commissionable?
No. Extra account packs (add-ons) are excluded from affiliate commissions. Only main subscription plans generate commissions.
Why wasn’t a click counted even though someone used my link?
This typically happens when the visitor is in a strict-consent region (EU, UK, or Brazil). In those regions, the Affonso tracking cookie is only placed after the visitor explicitly accepts marketing cookies on our consent banner. If they clicked “Essential only”, dismissed the banner, or use a browser with strict cookie blocking, no tracking cookie is set and the click won’t appear in your dashboard. This is required by law (GDPR/LGPD) and cannot be overridden. For visitors outside these regions (US, Canada, Asia, etc.), the cookie is set immediately with no consent barrier.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are detected and rejected. Affonso matches affiliate and buyer identities.
How long until I get paid?
Payouts are processed through Affonso according to their standard payout schedule. Check your dashboard for details.
